Heroes Sports Park is a 501c3 nonprofit that is dedicated to transforming and strengthening the lives of young people through providing them access to sports and coaching mentors. They inspire youth to pursue careers in Military, Firefighting, Law Enforcement, and Education. When you donate here, you’ll be helping this organization build new infrastructure and playing fields. Dad’s close friends are active in this organization. Dad was also a youth baseball coach and umpire for many years and feels passionately about supporting youth.

Dad adopted his favorite daughter, Jenny, from the Gulf Coast Coast Humane Society in Fort Myers. The mission of the Gulf Coast Humane Society is being a safe haven for pets in need by providing medical care, promoting adoptions, and nurturing the bond between pets and people in Southwest Florida.

Dad was a firefighter for the Cincinnati Fire Department for many decades. Cincinnati Fire Fighters Local 48 supports two charities, The Chip Terry Fund for First Responders, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s “Fill The Boot” campaign.

SWATT is a Team of Southwest Airlines employees, dependents, retirees and dedicated volunteers who donate their time and nonrev flight benefits to transport rescued pets across the continental United States, Puerto Rico, and the interislands of Hawaii. They support nonprofit organizations in their efforts to protect and advocate for animals in need. The volunteer transporters, known as Flight Angels, fly standby and personally escort animals in need, in the cabin of the airplane, to ensure safe, stress-free journeys to their forever homes, rescues, or sanctuaries.
